Documentation

ETG v2.0 now supports two modes (two kinds of trees):

  • Regular broad-leaved generation. Here you can build regular polygonal model of tree or bush and save it to file (Wavefront OBJ and DirectX *.X formats + XML and plain text formats are available.)
  • Physical broad-leaved generation. Here you also build broad-leaved tree, but also see it's physical behaviour. Notice that the only format which can export physical data here is XML. OBJ and X formats export just regular geometry.

Future version will give you ability to make palms and conifer trees. Both with regular and physical representation. Notice that for the best results you probably should use one of freeware/shareware physics engines. There are several excellent engines, and you might already use one of them in your project, so we think this is not a problem.
